What ToolScope is for

ToolScope is an evidence-first directory of AI tools. Every listing is grounded in publicly available official information — product pages, documentation, pricing, changelogs — with clear provenance and confidence levels.

How listings are built

Our research agent crawls only permitted official pages, respectsrobots.txt, and identifies itself as ToolScopeBot/1.0 (+https://toolscope.biz/bot). Extracted facts are stored with the source URL, timestamp, and a confidence score.

Product overviews, pros and cons, and pricing summaries are generated only from that captured evidence. We never copy editorial descriptions from other directories.

Verification and ownership

Product owners can claim their listing, verify domain ownership, respond to reviews, and contest any factual claim on their page. Verified corrections update the public record with a visible audit trail.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings come only from verified community reviews written on ToolScope. We do not import ratings from other directories and do not invent counts, awards, or popularity signals.

What we do not do

  • Copy overviews, pros, cons, or reviews from other directories.
  • Generate fake ratings, testimonials, awards or customer counts.
  • Bypass paywalls, login forms, or scrape personal data.
  • Promise regulatory or security compliance we cannot verify.
